Toyota U.S. Grand Prix in Aspen

Aspen Snowmass is proud to announce that they will be hosting the 2018 Toyota U.S. Grand Prix - Olympic Selection Event, January 10 - 14. Spectators will be able to witness the best freeski and snowboard athletes in the world as they compete in hopes of earning an invitation to the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Athletes of both genders will compete in ski and snowboard halfpipe and slopestyle in 5 qualify events to become part of the U.S Olympic Team.

This is will be a notable event for Aspen Snowmass as they are celebrating their 50th anniversary as well as hosting its first Olympic qualifying event since 1998. Season-long festivities will be held this year to commemorate this milestone. Along with being a spectator at the Olympic qualifying events, the family will have non stop fun with Breathtaker Alpine Coaster, history tours, sightseeing on Elk Camp Chairlift, and much more.

The event is free and open to the public. All events will be located below Coney Glade lift in Snowmass Park. If you can't make it out, don't worry! NBC Universal will be providing 15 hours of coverage for all events. You can catch all of the action on NBC and NBC Sports Network. There will also be global live streaming over the web.
