Vail is gearing up for Vail Oktoberfest the much anticipated 2-weekend event that will be full of beer, music and the celebration of autumn. Witness Lionshead Village and Vail Village transform into a mini version of Munich and all the traditions that come along with this great city. The first weekend will be held at Lionshead Village from September 7-9. The second weekend will be held at Vail Village from September 14-16. Bring the entire family as there will be activities for both adults and children alike. The event is free and open to the public.

Food options will be overflowing and attendees will be able to enjoy a range of Bavarian fare such as schnitzel, brats, spaetzle and much more! And no Oktoberfest would be complete without authentic beer! Spaten will be sponsoring this Vail event and ensuring that all guests are well hydrated throughout the day. Along with food and drink, the festival will be featuring entertainment such as performances and competitions that differ each day.

Each festival day will run from 12 PM - 10 PM and will be packed full of entertainment and activities. Enhance your Oktoberfest experience by dressing up in a Bavarian-inspired costume and you might take home the bragging rights for the best costume of the day! Attendees can also participate in eating contests, yodeling, lifting competitions and keg bowling (just to name a few). Musical guests will be performing Bavarian tunes which include performances by Helmut Fricker and the Rhinelanders Band, The Other Guys, Rewind, and much more!
