If you're a fly fishing fan, now is the time to put on your wading boots and get out there! Water clarity conditions have improved for the Roaring Fork River in Aspen, Colorado. How can you determine visibility? Wade out two feet into the water and look down. If you can see one foot down, it's fishable. If you can see two or more feet down, it's extremely fishable. The clearest water is near the bank, and the fish will naturally migrate toward that area.

Aspen Skiing Co. plans to introduce two new summer activities to Elk Camp Meadows: disc golf and overnight camping! These new activities will make Snowmass a summer hot spot. There are new proposed developments that will improve Elk Camp Meadows in preparation for the summer. Most of these changes are only seasonal, and will be removed during ski season. New hiking and biking trails are being built, and a new Cafe Suzanne restaurant will open soon.
