A new, upscale ski-in, ski-out dining option is available at Mid-Vail for the 2012 ski season. The 10th is a spacious restaurant with amazing views of the Gore Range. At over 13,000 square feet, The 10th can seat 160 people in the main dining room, 40 in the lounge, and another 40 on the south-facing deck.

The 10th at Mid-Vail is a new ski-in ski-out fine dining restaurant.

  Vail Valley's Snowball Festival, or "Snowchella," is the first large-scale indie concert to come to the area since the Monolith Festivals. The concert will be held March 4-6th with headliners Pretty Lights and Bassnectar. Other electronic and indie bands include Diplo, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Big Gigantic, and 12th Planet.

Vail Valley's Snowball Festival, or "Snowchella," in March is the first large scale indie concert since the Monolith Festivals.

'Last Comic Standing' Tour Comes to Vail

Craig Robinson of "The Office" and "Hot Tub Time Machine" will be hosting this year's seventh season of 'Last Comic Standing.' The show airs this summer and features a nationwide search for the funniest comedian or comedienne in America, as well as guest performances. Talent scouts like Greg Geraldo, Andy Kindler and Natasha Leggerro judge performances and will award the winner with a $250,000 prize and an exclusive contract with NBC.

Vail Mountain Closing Day Celebrates With Pond Skimming Championships

If you stayed at the Ritz Carlton Residence Club in Bachelor Gulch over the weekend, you were there for Vail Mountain Closing Day, when Vail's World Pond Skimming Championships were held at the Golden Peak ski area. This year's Pond Skimming Championships drew in the biggest crowd in the event's eight year history. There was free BBQ and turkey legs as thousands watched costumed skiers and snowboarders attempt to clear a 100-foot, ice cold pond.
