Fourth of July in Jackson Hole

Jackson Hole is a great place to spend the Fourth of July holiday.

What better way to spend Fourth of July than in the Old West town of Jackson Hole? You can experience this patriotic holiday in style at the Four Seasons Jackson Hole Residence Club. There are several events throughout the day for kids and adults.

The first is the Jackson Hole Jaycees Pancake Breakfast from 8am to 10am. The local Jaycees have been serving this pancake breakfast for 34 years. The proceeds benefit the local community fireworks and local student scholarships.

The second event is the Howdy Pardner's Fourth of July Parade, thrown by the Jackson Hole Howdy Pardner Club. The parade goess through downtown Jackson, including the Town Square.

Jackson Hole Kids Games are up next at St. John's Episcopal Church from 11:30am to 1:30pm. They have balloon toss, 3 legged race, infant crawl, fish pond, watermelon eating contest, tug of war, football toss and more.

Music in the Hole is a free outdoor concert by the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra. This event draws crowds of about 8000 people. There are food and beverage stations in case you forgot to pack a picnic basket!

The Jackson Hole Shootout at 6pm at the Town Square is the longest running shootout reenactment and includes cowboys, villains, and saloon girls.

The Jackson Hole Rodeo at the Teton County Rodeo Grounds takes place at 8pm, and is a unique experience for the whole family.

The night ends with a Fireworks display by the Jaycees at the base of Snow King Mountain. There will be fireworks on the 3rd and the 4th.
