4th of July in Jackson Hole is always an exciting affair. If you're staying at the Four Seasons Residence Club in Jackson Hole for 4th of July, you'll have plenty of fun things to do.
The day begins with a Street Pancake Breakfast at Deloney on Center Street from 7 to 11 am. Then head over to Snow King Ave to the Teton County Fair Building for the Howdy Pardners Ambassador Club morning parade at 10am. The parade encompasses the downtown area, from Snow King Ave to Broadway to Willow. The Howdy Pardners Ambassador Club was founded in 1977 and is the hospitality department of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce. They dress up like cowboys and cowgirls and roll out a red carpet at the Jackson Hole Airport and greet visitors during the winter with mimosas, orange juice and hatpins.
The Jackson Hole Community Band will play a concert on the Square after the parade. After that, take the kids to St John's for Kids Games from 11:30am to 3pm - they'll have balloon toss, 3 legged race, infant crawl, watermelon eating contest, fish pond, tug of war, football toss, and more! This event is for children up to 12 years old. Sorry, adults! No balloon toss for you. Advanced registration is encouraged as this event sells out fast. It costs $10 per child, and adults who want to eat lunch have to pay an extra $5. For more details about Kids Games, contact Chip Marvin at (307) 690 - 2657 or chipmarvin@gmail.com.
The Grand Teton Music Festival will be playing the 10th annual free concert from 3pm to 7pm at Alpine Field, the athletic field at Jackson Hole Middle School. This concert features the Grand Teton Orchestra, led by Donald Runnicles. Everyone is invited to come early and have a picnic on the field. If you've been participating in the 4th of July events all day and didn't have time to pack food or didnt feel like lugging around a giant picnic basket full of food, don't worry. There will be plenty of vendors present to feed everyone! The Music Festival is sponsored by local businesses, corporate sponsors, and members of the community. Last year, 10,000 people came to this event, so it's definitely as popular as the Fireworks show.

The Jackson Hole Rodeo at the Teton County Fairgrounds starts at 8pm, and then fireworks begin at 10pm! The fireworks show is put on by the J. H. Jaycees and will be held at the base of the Snow King Mountain. Teton Village will also host a special show at the mountain base. The J.H. Jaycees are a Young Professionals Group in Jackson Hole that is involved in events and projects to promote community service, social activities, and personal development.
