Aspen Music Festival and School 2010

The Benedict Music Tent is where the Aspen Music Festival plays during the summer in Aspen, directed by David Zinman.

This year marks the 61st season of the Aspen Music Festival and School. Each year, 600 students and 200 artist-faculty come from around the world to play together with Director David Zinman. The Aspen Music Festival consists of 8 weeks, from July 1st to August 22nd, and over 300 performances/events. There will be orchestral concerts, chamber music, opera, contemporary music, master classes, lectures, and kids' programs.

Daily concerts will be held at Benedict Music Tent, a 2,050 seat, acoustically superior and award-winning structure built in 2000, the Victorian Wheeler Opera House, Harris Concert Hall, and churches in the Aspen area. Tickets range from free to $80 (lawn tickets are always free).
