Caribbean Vacation: St. Thomas to St. John
Caribbean vacations are not limited to one island - if you're staying at the Ritz Carlton Residence Club in St. Thomas, you can easily head over to St. John. St. John is quickly accessible by a 20 minute ferry ride, which runs hourly. The St. John ferry dock is located in Cruz Bay, also called "Love City," at the West End of the island.
There are plenty of activities to do on St. John. Water sports include:
- Snorkeling
- Scuba Diving
- Kayaking
- Sailing
- Yachting
You can also hike on Rams Head trail on the northeast side. This trail is one mile long and begins at the south side of Salt Pond Bay Beach. Some of the scenery you can expect to see is a unique blue cobble beach, Turks Cap Cactus, flora and fauna, and panoramic views as you travel uphill 200 feet above the Caribbean.
