Caribbean Vacation: Best Shopping in St. Thomas

You may want to get out and do some shopping and sightseeing while you're staying at the Ritz Carlton Club St. Thomas. Charlotte Amalie is the biggest conglomerate of stores in St. Thomas. Dronningens Gade, better known as Main Street, Back Street and Waterfront have the best shopping in Charlotte Amalie. You will also find unique boutiques in the alleys off of these three streets. Recommended alleys for shopping are Royal Dane Mall, Palm Passage, and Riise Alley.
Stores are in old historic buildings, so you can shop and sight-see at the same time. Hours are Monday through Saturday 9am to 5pm, and Sundays from 9am to 3pm.
Another shopping spot in St. Thomas is Havensight, located at the primary cruise ship docks 3 miles east of Charlotte Amalie. You can go to Havensight Shopping Center, Buccaneer Mall, and Port of Sale. Hours at Havensight are from 9am to 5pm 7 days a week when ships are in port. If ships stay late, stores will stay open until 6:30pm. If there are no ships, stores will only open from 10am to 3pm.

Smaller shopping areas are:
- American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook
- Lockhart Gardens
- Tutu Park Mall
- Nisky Center
- Mountain Top and Paradise Point: both better known for their views, but also have shopping
