Off the Hook

Off the Hook is a seafood restaurant located right on the docks of Red Hook, adjacent to the ferry to St. John. Local fishermen who dock here bring fresh fish every day. It doesn't get any fresher than that! Off the Hook has a casual and fun atmosphere, and the crowd is mostly upscale tourists and diners from nearby moored sailboats. Try the crispy conch fritters with sweet-hot banana chili chutney, fresh fish stew with scallops, shrimp, mahi mahi, conch, and calamari in a coconut curry broth; the yellowfin tuna, tuna and salmon sushi platter, or Black Angus steak.
