NEW Four Seasons Vail Preview

The Four Seasons Vail Residence Club just opened December 2010.

The new Four Seasons Resort and Residence Club in Vail, Colorado is scheduled to open this coming December. The resort caters to sports lovers and is the perfect setting for those who love to ski, snowboard, hike and golf. The Vail Village location is right in the middle of the action, and features lively nightlife, festivals, high-end shopping, and 5-star dining.

The new Four Seasons Vail ski services take the concept of "ski valet" to a whole new level. The experience starts in the Lobby, where guests will receive custom fittings with advanced technology to ensure that they have a boot that exactly matches their size and skill level. This information is passed along to the Ski Concierge, who then selects skis and poles and adds them, along with the perfectly fitted boots, into the guests' lockers. The next day, guests will find warm boots and waxed ski equipment ready to go for a full day of skiing.

The Four Seasons Vail Spa provides custom created restorative treatments for bodies challenged by high altitudes and cold temperatures. The "Spirit of the Rockies" treatment involves elixers and infusions specially recommended for stiff joints and a process designed to make the guest feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

The heated saline outdoor pool (chemical free) is another alternative for soothing sore muscles. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary cup of Haut Chocolate near the large stone fireplace.

The Fireside Bar and Lounge is the perfect setting for apres ski drinks and a light meal. They serve a full martini/cocktail menu, with an emphasis on classic Latin American cocktails. Guests can eat hot and cold tapas and sushi.

Flame Restuarant is a steakhouse where select entrees can be prepared tableside, and sides are enjoyed family style. Flame serves local game specialties including elk and buffalo from Colorado ranches and farms. Flame features a New World wine list with unique wines from California, Oregon and South America. Wine flights are recommended with dinner so that guests can fully experience the diverse wine list. An expert barista serves gourmet coffee and tea in the morning.

The hotel feautres 121 rooms and suites, 19 fractional ownership Residence Club properties, and 16 whole ownership Private Residence properties.
