New Aspen Restaurants

Coming Soon:
> Aspen brewery Company is expanding its Aspen Brewery Tap Room. The new Tap Room will be moving into the space formerly occupied by Social Restaurant on Hopkins Ave. Since there is no kitchen in the new place, it will be a Bring Your Own Lunch situation. Opens by Thanksgiving 2010.
> Oy Vey Cafe is a New York style breakfast and lunch deli specializing in Jewish deli items, like custom prepared roast beef and turkey. Oy Vey Cafe opens at 6:30am and will be located right below the Tap Room, making it the perfect candidate for BYOL. Opens Dec 1st 2010.
> Frank Thirion French Pastry & Cafe is bringing a second location to Hopkins Ave, across from the Tap Room. They will serve French pastries, croissants, cakes, and specialty coffees. Opens early December 2010.
> Casa Tua is a popular Miami restaurant that will be expanding to Aspen. They will create the feel of a chalet in the Italian Alps and serve fine Italian cuisine with French and Swiss influences. There will be a member's only club upstairs.
> BB's Kitchen will be a moderately priced American bistro serving comfort food on Cooper Ave., across from Bad Billy's. BB's will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The second floor of the bistro is currently being renovated to include a huge terrace with Aspen mountain views that seats 50. The ground floor will have a lounge with a fireplace and views of Red Mountain that is sure to become a popular apres ski destination.
> Venga Venga Cantina & Tequila Bar is a chain of Modern Mexican cuisine restaurants. The new location will open in the space Cirque Cafe used to occupy, at the end of the Snomass Mall.
Recently Opened
> Junk, by Scott Degraff of N9NE Steakhouse and the FunWorldwide Lab test kitchen, is now located on the corner of Hyman Avenue and Mill Street, across from the Wheeler Opera House. They have opened the side of the building to integrate the popcorn wagon and fire pit.
> CP Burger, sister restaurant to Brexi Brasserie, Lulu Wilson, and Wild Fig opened at the Silver Leaf Ice Skating Rink in front of the Hyatt. The menu features a variety of burgers, hot dogs, green chili, and spiked milkshakes.
> The Pitkin County Steak House and Tavern is located on Hopkins Ave. below Rustique. Their menu features dry aged steaks, seafood, and salad. The tavern side of the restaurant has draft beers, sports TV, and shuffleboard.
> The Silver Queen Restaurant serves modern American cuisine on Hyman Ave. The restaurant has a Victorian age/mining camp theme.
